Not informed when booking that breakfasts (other than Sundays) were continental style with just fried eggs included. Not informed when booking that there was absolutely no food in the hotel on any day other than the breakfast. This included the Bar (when it opened at 17:00) as there was not even sandwiches.
it was very clean.rooms were grand and comfortable.
staff serving breakfast was not very customer friendly.
The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Hotel was a 15 min walk from city and manager was helpful in where to eat and head out
The breakfast very basic, and the woman serving it. Also toiletries were very slak no shower gel etc
Very casual and relaxed place to stay.
The very warm welcome from the owner
No tea tray in the room!!! I stay in many hotels/b& b's in the uk, and have always assumed this is part of the package! I was given a complimentary tray of tea in the bar area~ but not quite like putting my feet up in my room to have a cuppa at the end of the day!!!
Owner Ted was so helpful. Breakfast was great, it is a lovely place with the most beautiful bar.
Quietness and location.
No bar services. Room was not warm enough - heating was only sporadic Public areas very dark namely breakfast room and bathrooms.
Very quiet, and the man at reception was very pleasant and helpful, especially regarding where to find restaurants. The beds were very comfortable.
No atmosphere. The breakfast was dried out (seemed to have been coooked for some time). The breakfast times and selection was very limited. There didnt seem to be an elevator for guests.
it was away from the city but not to far away.its a lovely walk to the town but your awayy from the clubs and noise.bar staff and owner very helpful and good fun
the staff at breakfast were very very unfriendly to the point of slamming things down on the table in front of you.
I enjoyed my stay at Kilkenny House Hotel as the staff were very friendly and obliging.
I did not find fault with the hotel.
it was very cheap and was a lovely hotel very clean and the staff were very friendly
Nothing . Would not stay here again
Cold atmosphere, radiators not working , badly fittiing bed linen . Bad breakfastt, must be cooked an hour before we goti
Clean, tidy, good value for money.
Noisy hotel guests but that's not the hotel's fault!
Room was very basic; 1 bar of soap, old towels, laminate floor - in need of a refurb. Requested smoking bedroom, strong smell of smoke on entering. Over all a hotel in need of a face lift and marketing
